Do not take Collyurinal effervescent granules:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the additives.
- epilepsy or severe renal impairment and should be given with caution to patients with neurological disorders. It should also be avoided or administered with extreme caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
- during pregnancy and lactation.
- Severe dehydration, metabolic acidosis or gout.
Cautions and precautions:
- Use with caution in patients with severe malnutrition and anemia.
Possible side effects:
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, rash and urticaria sometimes occur.
- Severe neurotoxicity and EEG abnormalities have been reported with symptoms including somnolence, dizziness, nystagmus, muscle asymmetry and weakness, ataxia, paresthesia, myoclonic contractions, choroidal movements, tremors, convulsions, and loss of reflexes.
- Transient visual disturbances such as blurred vision, paralytic strabismus and, rarely, cataracts.
- Clonic contractures occurred but only if neurological abnormalities or renal disease were present.
Allergic reactions that sometimes occur include:
- Skin reactions, arthralgia, fever, edema, tachycardia. urticaria, photodermatitis, erythema multiforme, purpura, eczematous cutaneous reactions, lacrimation, rhinorrhea and rarely, bronchospasm
Other medicines and effervescent granules:
- Using hexamine together with sulfonamides might increase your risk of developing crystalluria
- Medications that alkalize the urine should be avoided, including some antacids, potassium citrate, and diuretics such as acetazolamide or thiazides.
How to take the medicine:
- 1 tablespoon dissolved in half a glass of water after eating three times daily.
- Do not exceed recommended dose of urinal Escherichia coli.
How to store the medicine:
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and close tightly after use.
