• Salmetrol is a long-acting bronchodilator that works by widening the airways, thereby improving airflow in the lungs.

• Fluticasone propionate is a corticosteroid that resists the formation of mucus and swelling in the airways.
• This makes breathing easier, and if used regularly, it will reduce the symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• The effect on inflammation occurs after 4-7 days.
• Salmeterol/Fluticasone propionate is used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease when you need both a corticosteroid and a medication that provides long-term bronchodilation.

Directions for use:

• Hold the inhaler so that the mouthpiece is facing down.
• Form a tight seal by placing your lips around the nozzle.
• Start breathing slowly through your mouth and push the inhaler down.
• Remove the inhaler and breathe normally.
