Diosmin is used for:

Relief of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (poor blood flow in the vein).
Symptomatic treatment of acute hemorrhoidal attack.
Possible side effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known.
Common side effects:

Nausea
vomiting
Diarrhea

How to take diosmin:

This property is for adults only.
Take this drug as directed by your doctor.
Take this drug with a meal.
For venous insufficiency: one tablet at noon and one tablet in the evening.
Hemorrhoidal attack: 6 tablets per day for 4 days, then 4 tablets per day for 3 days.
