Decozal 0.05% Nasal Spray belongs to cold and allergy medicines.

How xylometazoline works:

• It acts directly on alpha-adrenergic receptors in the arteries of the nasal mucosa to produce vasoconstriction resulting in decreased blood flow.
• Xylometazoline is a decongestant used to reduce nasal congestion caused by allergies or the common cold.
• Xylometazoline causes the blood vessels in the nasal passages to constrict (vasoconstrictor).
• Vasoconstriction reduces nasal congestion by preventing fluid from draining from blood vessels into the nasal passages.

Uses of Decozal 0.05% nasal drops:

It is used in the nose to relieve:

• Nasal congestion (stuffy nose, including the common cold).
• Perennial rhinitis (recurrent inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay fever)
• Sinusitis.
