Detrusitol Retard 4 mg 14 tablets:
Detrusitol medication is used to control involuntary urination to treat symptoms of overactive bladder syndrome. It contains tolterodine, which belongs to the group of antimuscarinic drugs.
Uses of Detrusitol Retard:
- Treatment of increased frequency of urination.
- Involuntary urination in adults.
- Urinary tract diseases.
- Urinary incontinence.
- Urgent feeling of the need to urinate.
Usage instructions:
- The dose must be determined by the doctor according to age and medical condition.
- The usual dose for adults: take a dose of 2 mg equivalent to one tablet twice a day or
- One capsule with a concentration of 4 mg of extended-release capsules.
- Do not use Detrusitol medication on your own; you must consult a doctor.
- In case of a missed dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is close to the time of the next dose.
- The missed dose should not be compensated by taking a double dose.
Warnings and precautions:
- Not to be used in cases of allergy to the ingredients, urinary retention, uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma, or severe liver impairment.
- Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding and only under medical supervision.
- Not intended for children under 18 years old.
- May cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision; avoid driving or operating machinery if these symptoms occur.
