The active ingredient in Elocom cream is called Mometasone, which is a medium-strength corticosteroid. This medicine is available in several forms including cream, ointment, and lotion. The doctor will choose the type of product based on the skin condition and the area of the body that needs treatment.

Uses :

• This medicine is used to treat skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, allergies, and rashes. Elocom lotion works to reduce swelling (inflammation), itching, and redness.
• Elocom cream can be used with several other preparations prescribed by the doctor to even out skin tone, lighten, or eliminate pigmentation affecting the skin, but the duration prescribed by the doctor should not be exceeded.
• Elocom reduces congestion and swelling of pimples on the face, neck, and back, making it a good choice with acne products.
• Elocom lotion, ointment, or cream can be used to reduce inflammation affecting children's skin due to eczema or insect bites, but it is not used for children under two years old, nor for diaper rash.
