Do not take dimetindene maleate:

If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
In children under 1 month.
If you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the past 14 days.
Do not use the gel on open wounds.
