Finalerg Syrup 100 ml :

Finalerg for children is a second-generation antihistamine that reduces the natural production of histamine in the body; it is cetirizine.

Active ingredient in Finalerg syrup for children: Cetirizine.

Why it is used:

Finalerg is used to treat symptoms of cold or allergy such as sneezing, itching, watery eyes, or runny nose.

Cetirizine is also used to treat allergies, itching, and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (hives) and reduces or eliminates symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinitis.

Seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, allergic asthma, physical urticaria, and atopic dermatitis.

Precautions and warnings:

There may be side effects that affect your reactions or thinking.

When driving or doing anything else that requires you to be awake and alert, you should be cautious.

If you regularly use additional medications that cause drowsiness, inform your doctor (for example, over-the-counter cold or allergy medicines, narcotic painkillers, sleeping pills, muscle relaxants, anxiety, depression, or seizure medications).

They may increase the drowsiness caused by cetirizine.

If your symptoms worsen, do not improve, or if you also have a fever, contact your doctor.

If you are allergic to cetirizine or have had a negative reaction to it, you should not take this medicine.

Inform your doctor of all your medical problems, including any history of kidney or liver disease, before starting cetirizine.

It is not expected that an unborn child will be harmed by cetirizine.

If you are pregnant or wish to become pregnant while receiving treatment, inform your doctor.

Cetirizine may be harmful to the infant if it passes into breast milk.

Avoid using cetirizine if you are breastfeeding a child without first informing your doctor.

For adults and children aged six months and older with chronic idiopathic urticaria, Finalerg syrup for children is recommended.

A lower dose than usual may be necessary for the elderly.

Feeling tired.
Dry mouth.
Sore throat and cough.
Nausea and constipation.
Headache.

How to use:

You must follow the manufacturer's instructions or the doctor's prescription when using cetirizine.

Never use Finalerg treatment for children for longer than recommended or in higher amounts.

Cetirizine can be taken with or without food.

Chew the tablet before swallowing if it is a chewable tablet.

Oral doses: Use a cup or spoon designed for measuring doses instead of a standard tablespoon to measure liquid medicine (oral solution).

Ask the pharmacist for dosing equipment if you do not already have one.
