Fostimon 75 IU 1 vial:
Fostimon belongs to hormones.
How Urofollitropin works:
- FSH directly affects the ovaries in women by increasing the number of growing follicles and stimulating their growth.
- FSH also increases estrogen production, and under the influence of this hormone, the egg continues to grow.
Uses of Fostimon:
- Fostimon is used to stimulate ovulation in women who do not ovulate and have not responded to other treatments (clomiphene citrate).
- It is used to achieve the growth of multiple follicles (and thus multiple eggs) in women undergoing fertility treatment.
How to use Fostimon:
- It is administered by injection into the muscle or under the skin.
- Doses can be adjusted in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
Warnings and precautions:
- Inform your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel better while using the medication.
