Fucidin Ointment 30 g:

Fusidic acid ointment.

Why Fusidic Acid is Used:

It is used to treat certain types of skin infections caused by bacteria such as impetigo (sores and crusts), infected wounds, and burns.

Do not use fusidic acid:
• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medicine.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Be careful when using this medication near your eyes.
• Do not use for a long period. Secondary infections may occur.

Possible Side Effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, sore, or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency of these side effects is unknown.

Side effects include:

• Mild skin irritation
• Rash
• Eczema

Other Medicines and Fusidic Acid:

• Inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking.

How to Use Fusidic Acid:

• For external use only.
• Use this medication as directed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before use.
• Apply 2–3 times daily.

How to Store Fusidic Acid:

• Store at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 25 degrees Celsius).
• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiration date printed on the package.
