Gaviscon 16 mint flavored tablets

Gaviscon Original Relief Tablets provide fast, long-acting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. It can be used to treat GERD (a condition in which acidic stomach contents back up into the esophagus) and to treat flatulence caused by GERD. This medicine belongs to a group of medicines called 'reflux inhibitors'.

How to use

Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take 2 to 4 tablets after meals and just before bedtime, or as directed by a physician.
This product should not be taken by children under 12 years of age unless on medical recommendation.
Suitable for use during pregnancy and lactation
If you are taking other medications by mouth, leave at least 2 hours between this product and other medications.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Do not store in the refrigerator
• All medicines are kept in a safe manner out of the reach of children
• Patients following a low sodium diet should consult their physician before taking this product.
• This product should not be taken by patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients.
• Patients with phenylketonuria (PKU) should be careful when using this product.

Each Gaviscon chewable tablet contains: Sodium Alginate 250 mg, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 133.5 mg, Calcium Carbonate 80 mg, Mannitol (E421), Macrogol 20000, Copovidone Aspartame (E951), Cool Mint Flavor, Magnesium Stearate, Acesulfame Potassium. These tablets are free of sugar and gluten.
