Gyno Mycosal 400 mg 3 Vaginal Suppositories:

400 mg Miconazole Nitrate vaginal suppositories.

This medicine is used to treat vaginal yeast infection.

Miconazole reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with this condition.

This medicine is an azole antifungal.

It works by stopping the growth of the fungi causing the infection.

Do not use Miconazole Nitrate:

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any other component of this medicine, or any other antifungal medicine.

Warnings and Precautions:

If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine:

Diabetes.

Recurrent vaginal yeast infection (more than 3 in 6 months or 4 in 1 year).

Do not use tampons, vaginal douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this medicine.

Unscented sanitary pads can be used during menstruation or to protect your clothes from medicine leakage.

Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve after 3 days or lasts more than 7 days.

Tell your doctor if the infection returns within two months.

You may need a different or additional medicine to treat your condition.

Possible Side Effects:

Burning in the vagina/urethra, itching, pain, or cramps in the lower abdomen may occur.

If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

If your doctor has prescribed this medicine, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you outweighs the risk of side effects.

Many people using this medicine do not have serious side effects.

A very serious allergic reaction to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical care if it occurs.

Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include:

Rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, difficulty breathing.

How to Use:

This product is for vaginal use only.

Wash your hands before and after use.

Avoid contact of this product with your eyes.

If it gets into your eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water.

The dose depends on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Usually, use the medicine once daily at bedtime for 1 to 7 nights as directed by your doctor.

When using the vaginal suppository, you can use your finger to insert the suppository.

Unwrap the suppositories before use.

Follow the package instructions on how to fill the applicator with the vaginal suppositories.

Lie on your back with your knees drawn toward your chest.

Insert the suppository into the vagina as far as comfortably possible.
