Scientific name: Tadalafil 5 mg tablets.

Uses:

• To treat erectile dysfunction in adult men: This occurs when a man cannot get or maintain a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity. It is important to note that Tadalafil does not work if there is no sexual stimulation.

How to use:

• Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a little water. The tablets can be taken with or without food.
• It should not be given to individuals under the age of 18.
• For the treatment of erectile dysfunction: The recommended starting dose is one 10 mg tablet before sexual activity. However, you have been given a dose of one 20 mg tablet as your doctor has decided that the recommended dose of 10 mg is too weak.
• You can take a Tadalafil tablet at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
• Tadalafil may remain effective up to 36 hours after taking the tablet.
• Do not take tadalafil more than once a day.

Side Effects:

Side effects are not common to everyone, but some patients may complain of:

• headache.
• Back pain, muscle pain, pain in the arms and legs.
• blushing.
• Nasal congestion.
• Indigestion.

Warnings and precautions:

Before using this medicine, talk to your doctor if you have:

• Any heart problems other than pulmonary hypertension.
• Blood pressure problems.
• Any hereditary eye disease.
• Sickle cell anemia (a defect in red blood cells).
• Multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer).
• Leukemia (cancer of blood cells).
• Any deformity of your penis.
• Serious liver or kidney problem.
• You have or are at risk of developing high pressure in your eye (glaucoma).
