Imigran 50 mg 2 Tablets :

Imigran tablets are used for the immediate relief of migraine attacks, whether accompanied by aura or not.

Imigran should only be used when a confirmed diagnosis of migraine is present.

How to use:

The recommended dose for adults aged 18 to 65 years is:

50 mg, but you may need to increase the dose of Imigran tablets to 100 mg.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose for you.

If the first Imigran tablet helps relieve your migraine, and it returns later, you may take another tablet.

Do not take more than 300 mg of Imigran tablets within 24 hours.

Each of the six pink tablets (50 mg) or the three white tablets (100 mg) contains 300 mg.

Do not take more Imigran tablets, or any other form of Imigran, if the first dose does not relieve your symptoms.

You may take your usual headache medicine provided it does not contain ergotamine or methysergide.

If you are unsure what to do, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If Imigran does not relieve the migraine, you may use Imigran tablets on another occasion to treat another migraine attack.

If there are no side effects, you may use Imigran tablets to treat at least three separate migraine attacks before you and your doctor decide that this medicine is not effective for you.
