Megamox 1 g Tablet 14 pcs :

875 mg Amoxicillin and 125 mg Clavulanic acid.

To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of (Amoxicillin / Potassium Clavulanate) and other antibacterial drugs

It should only be used to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by sensitive bacteria.

A combination antibacterial of the penicillin class and beta-lactamase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of infections due to isolates sensitive to the specified bacteria under the conditions mentioned below:

Lower respiratory tract infections.

Acute bacterial otitis media.

Skin and skin structure infections.

Urinary tract infections.

Usage instructions:

Can be taken regardless of meals; however, the absorption of potassium clavulanate is enhanced when this antibiotic is given at the start of a meal.

To reduce the likelihood of gastrointestinal intolerance, AUGMENTIN should be taken at the start of a meal.

It may work better if taken at the start of a meal.

Take the medicine every 12 hours.

Do not crush or chew an extended-release tablet. Swallow the pill whole, or break the pill into halves and take both halves one after the other.

Warnings and precautions:

You should not use Augmentin if you have severe kidney disease.

If you have liver problems or jaundice while taking amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate.

If you are allergic to any penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics.

This medicine is contraindicated for patients with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice associated with amoxicillin-clavulanate or hepatic dysfunction.

Serious and sometimes fatal hypersensitivity reactions have been reported.

The medicine should be stopped immediately if a rash or other signs of hypersensitivity appear.

Each tablet contains 875 mg Amoxicillin (Amoxicillin trihydrate) and 125 mg Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate).
