What are the uses of Mongaro needles?
- The drug is used to control blood sugar levels for patients with type 2 diabetes.
The drug works in several ways, including:
- Increasing insulin secretion.
- Slowing the absorption of food, causing you to feel fuller for longer periods of time.
- Reducing the amount of sugar synthesized by the liver.
- As for the use of Mongaro for slimming, the Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved the use of the drug for slimming, despite the results of clinical trials in this regard, and studies are still ongoing.
Dosages:
- Start with a dose of 2.5 mg per week as a starting dose, for 4 weeks, then in the fifth week the dose can be increased to 5 mg per week.
- The dose is increased by 2.5 mg at least every 4 weeks as needed.
- Maximum dose: 15 mg per week.
How to use:
- The medication is used as an injection into the skin only.
- The injections are given in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
- The injection site must be changed at each dose.
- The medication is used once a week, at any time of the day, with or without meals.
Precautions for using:
Use with caution under a doctor's supervision in the following cases:
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Liver or kidney disease.
- Inflammation of the pancreas.
- Diabetic retinopathy, or diabetic macular edema.
- Severe gastrointestinal disorders and should not be used in such cases.
- Severe gallbladder disease.
