• Nolvadex Tablet 10 belongs to the class of “antineoplastic agents”, primarily used to treat breast cancer.
• It is also used to treat infertility caused by failure of the ovulation process (production and secretion) in women.
• Breast cancer is a type of cancer that affects breast cells and is stimulated by a female hormone called estrogen.
• Nolvadex Tablet 10 contains the drug Tamoxifen which belongs to the anti-estrogen class.
• Some types of breast cancers need estrogen (the female sex hormone) to grow.
• Nolvadex Tablet 10 blocks the effects of estrogen and thus helps in treating breast cancer.
• Nolvadex Tablet 10 is also used to reduce the risk of breast cancer in women due to age and personal and family medical history.

Instructions for use:

Tablet/capsule:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• You can take Nolvadex 10 tablets with or without food at regular intervals as directed by your doctor.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.
• Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition.

Warnings and precautions:

Before starting Nolvadex Tablet 10, tell your doctor if:

• You have any medical history of liver or kidney disease, heart disease, high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, diabetes, history of stroke or blood clot, receiving chemotherapy, or cataracts.
• Nolvadex tablet 10 can affect the fetus when used in pregnancy.
