Nurofen 400 mg 12 tablets

Ibuprofen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, muscle and back pain, and pain associated with menstruation), to relieve fever, and to relieve pain and inflammation in cases of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis).

Indications for use

Prof has a set of features, the most important of which are:

• Anti-inflammatory.
• Pain reliever.
• Antipyretic.

Nurofen 400 mg 12 tablets

• One tablet twice daily.

Do not take ibuprofen: 

• If you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medication.
• If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
• If you have previously had gastrointestinal bleeding after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
• If you have an ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding or have had at least two attacks in the past.
• If you suffer from severe liver, kidney or heart problems.
• If you suffer from severe dehydration.
•  If you have any active bleeding.
•  If you have conditions that increase your risk of bleeding. 
•  If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.

Warnings and precautions:

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:

• If you suffer from chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal problems such as ulcerative colitis, Cohen's disease, or others.
• If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
• If you have problems with your blood cells.
• If you suffer from blood clotting problems.
• If you suffer from high blood pressure or heart problems.
• If you suffer from liver or kidney problems.
• If you have asthma or other conditions that make breathing difficult.
• Ibuprofen and other similar medicines may cause ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding and can be serious.
• Ibuprofen and other similar medications are associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack and stroke, especially when used in high doses for a long time.

Possible side effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.

Serious side effects:

• Gastrointestinal bleeding and ulceration.
• Kidney problems.
• Serious skin reactions.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take.

Ibuprofen interacts with many drugs, including:

• Other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. 
• Anticoagulants and platelets.
• Diuretics.
• Lithium.
• Digoxin.
• Steroids.
• Methotrexate.
• Immunosuppressive drugs.
• Some antibiotics.
• Medicines used to treat depression.
• Sulfonylurea.
• Fluconazole and voriconazole.
• Some antiviral medications.
• Ginkgo biloba (herbal product).
