How Olmazide works:

• Olmesartan belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin receptor blockers. (ARBs). It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.

Use of Olmazide-Olmesartan:

• Olmesartan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
• Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. 

Warnings and precautions:

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if:

• If you are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients, it contains inactive ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.
• You suffer from kidney disease.
• You suffer from liver disease.
• You suffer from high levels of potassium in your blood. This medication may raise your potassium levels, so check your potassium levels before use.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including:

• Severe or non-stop diarrhea.
• Symptoms of high blood potassium (such as muscle weakness, slow/irregular heartbeat).
