Omnicef 300 mg 10 capsules:
Omnicef 300 mg Capsule belongs to the antibacterial medicines.
How Omnicef-Cefdinir works:
- Cefdinir is a cephalosporin taken orally. Like penicillin, it is a beta-lactam antibiotic. It works by binding to certain proteins found within the bacterial cell wall and thus prevents the formation of the bacterial cell wall.
- Without a cell wall, the bacterial cell is vulnerable to external water and external pressures, which causes the bacteria to die quickly.
