How to use:

  • Preparation: Before taking your blood pressure, make sure to sit comfortably in a stable chair for at least 5 minutes. Place your feet on the floor and relax. Sit straight and do not talk during the measurement.
  • Turn on the device: Turn on the blood pressure monitor and wait for it to signal that it is ready for use.
  • Place the device on your arm: Raise your arm to the level of your heart, and relax. Securely attach the blood pressure monitor to your arm.
  • Read the pressure: Press the pressure gauge button. The machine will start pumping air into the cuff on your arm. You will feel pressure on your arm, but it should be bearable.
  • Appearance of results: When the machine has finished measuring the pressure, it will display the results on the screen. The reading is usually in the form of two numbers, for example: “120/80”. The first number is known as systolic (higher pressure), and the second number is diastolic (lower pressure).
  • Understanding the results: Normal blood pressure values typically range from 90/60 mm Hg to 120/80 mm Hg. If your reading is higher than this number, you may have high blood pressure, and if it's lower, you may have low blood pressure.
  • Record the results: It's a good idea to record readings with time and date to track blood pressure changes over time.
  • Turn off the device and remove the cuff: Once the results are read, stop the device and remove the cuff from your arm.
