Sri Lanka has been cultivating and harvesting coconuts along its tropical coast for many generations. Clearspring is proud to bring you premium quality coconut products that are traditionally grown and harvested but processed using modern technology while keeping the natural properties of the coconut intact. Our producer works closely with a large group of 3,000 organic farmers.

By working directly with the farmers who own their land, we ensure that the health and growth of our coconut trees is directly linked to the success of the agribusiness. As a result, care is taken of the land and trees to not only help the environment as well as the local economy. Coconut trees are planted continuously to rejuvenate the forest with its natural regeneration process.

All products and products from harvesting are used for production or reuse. For example, the husks are sold into fuel or activated carbon which is very effective in removing impurities, and coconut water is used inside each coconut to wash the meat (many coconut milk producers throw this away after opening the coconut while unused coconut meat is sold from Peeling and pressed meat or used as animal feed.With our producers it is not wasted!

Virgin Coconut Oil is made from fresh coconuts that are simply husked, shredded, pressed and filtered. Highly nutritious, flavourfull, raw and unpasteurized.

Did you know that good quality coconut oil is snow white when in a clear solid form as it is water when in liquid form. Virgin Coconut Oil melts at 24°C (76°F).

Coconut oil is very heat stable, which makes it suitable for high temperature cooking methods such as deep frying and stir-frying. Use with browned onions and garlic for casseroles and stews, brush liquid oil on vegetables before roasting or potatoes and potatoes for oven roasting. (Since coconut oil is solid at room temperature simply melt the required amount of oil in a bowl that will sit in hot tap water for a few minutes.)

You can also use coconut oil in almost any recipe that includes fat. With a tangy flavor and a delicious sweet flavor when used in baking such as muffins, pies and cakes. Why not try using coconut oil when making old-fashioned popcorn or classic Asian dishes like curries and Thai soup.
