How to use Panadol Actifast

Oral use only.
Adults (including the elderly) and children 12 years of age and over: Take 2 tablets of Panadol Actifast up to 4 times daily (8 tablets in 24 hours). Maximum dose per day: 4000 mg. Do not exceed the indicated dose. It should not be used with other paracetamol-containing products.
Minimum interval between doses: 4 hours
It should not be used by children under 12 years of age.

Warnings and precautions for Panadol Actifast

Always read the package leaflet. Use only as directed. For the relief of pain and fever. Incorrect use can be harmful.
This remedy should not be taken at the same time as other paracetamol-containing products.
Do not take this remedy if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients in this product.
If symptoms persist or worsen, or new symptoms occur, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you have any liver or kidney problems, please consult your doctor before taking Panadol.
If you have glutathione depleting conditions such as sepsis, please consult your physician before taking Panadol.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
An overdose of paracetamol may cause liver failure. Immediate medical attention should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if symptoms of an overdose are not present.
Prolonged daily use of paracetamol with warfarin and other coumarins used to thin the blood may increase the risk of bleeding. Consult your doctor before taking these medicines together. Occasional doses of paracetamol do not have a significant effect.
Alcohol consumption increases the hepatotoxic effects of Panadol Actifast.
Each tablet contains 173 mg of sodium (346 mg of sodium per 2 tablet), which should be considered on a controlled sodium diet.
