It is used to lower elevated uric acid levels in the blood by reducing its production in the body, helping to control hyperuricemia and treat chronic gout in adults.

Uses:

• Febuxostat is used to treat elevated uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) in patients with gout.
• Used in the treatment of chronic gout.

• It is also used to treat and prevent elevated uric acid levels in adults with blood cancers who are receiving chemotherapy.

Usage instructions:

• Used for adults according to the doctor's prescription and instructions.
• The usual recommended dose is 40 mg once daily, and the doctor may adjust the dose according to uric acid levels and treatment response.
• The tablet can be taken with or without food.
• You must adhere to the dose and duration prescribed by the doctor and not stop treatment on your own.
