Second-degree burns, which are superficial and deeper burns, may not require skin grafting (removal of skin from one area to the affected area) if treated properly with this medication.
Third-degree burns (burns that affect the deeper layers of the skin, sometimes reaching tendons, bones, and muscles), to reduce the painful skin area and prepare it for debridement and non-surgical grafting.
To reduce pain in the donor area (the area of skin from which a shave of your skin is taken for grafting and use on the affected skin area) and to control the risk of infection at that site which promotes skin recovery.
Surgical wounds, including obstetric wounds (resulting from childbirth and related operations).
How to use :
Apply a thin layer of the product to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily if the area is not covered, and twice daily.
Dosages can be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, speak to a doctor or go to a hospital right away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose.
