Wafi is a treatment for adult men with erectile dysfunction, sometimes known as impotence
Do not use sildenafil:
- If you are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients of this medication
- If you take medications called nitrates, combining them can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
- If you are taking riociguat. This medication is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
- If you have a serious heart or liver problem.
- If you have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or if you have low blood pressure.
- If you suffer from certain rare hereditary eye diseases (such as retinitis pigmentosa).
- If you have in the past suffered from vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking sildenafil:
- If you have sickle cell anemia (a defect in red blood cells), leukemia (cancer of the blood cells), or multiple myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow).
- If you have a deformity of your penis or Peyronie's disease.
- If you have heart problems. Your doctor should carefully check whether your heart can handle the extra stress of sex.
- If you currently have a stomach ulcer or a bleeding problem (such as hemophilia).
- If you experience a sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking sildenafil and contact your doctor immediately.
- Sildenafil should not be used with any other oral or topical treatments to treat erectile dysfunction.
Possible side effects:
Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
- Tightness in the throat, swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, or you feel faint or have difficulty breathing.
- Hives or itching of the face or body.
