Medicine for treating diabetes 50/850 mg 56 tablets, a medicine for treating type 2 diabetes; it contains two active substances that help maintain blood sugar levels.

Each tablet of Xitamet contains:

50 mg of Sitagliptin: Belongs to the class of "DPP-4" inhibitors, an enzyme that breaks down incretin hormones naturally produced by the stomach. Inhibiting the enzyme's activity and increasing incretins helps the body produce more insulin to lower blood sugar levels.

850 mg of Metformin: Reduces blood sugar levels by decreasing liver glucose production, reducing intestinal glucose absorption, and increasing insulin sensitivity.

Zitamet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

Recommended Dosage:

The usual dose is one tablet twice daily with meals.
