Tadalafil is a treatment for adult men with erectile dysfunction.
This occurs when a man is unable to obtain or maintain a hard erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
Tadalafil has been shown to significantly improve the ability to obtain a firm erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
Tadalafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.
After sexual stimulation Tadalafil works by helping the blood vessels in the penis to relax, allowing blood to flow into the penis.
Due to this, erectile function improves. Tadalafil will not help you if you do not have erectile dysfunction.
It is important to note that Tadalafil does not work if there is no sexual stimulation.
Do not take tadalafil if you:

are allergic to tadalafil or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
You have a serious heart condition or have recently had a heart attack within the past 90 days.
Recently had a stroke within the last 6 months.
Low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
Ever lost vision due to non-arteritic anterior optic neuropathy, prof

Warnings and Precautions:

Before taking the tablets, tell your doctor if you have:

Sickle cell anemia (a defect in red blood cells).
Multiple myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow).
Leukemia (cancer of blood cells).
Any deformity in the male organ.
a serious liver problem;
severe kidney problem;
Possible side effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
These effects are usually mild to moderate in nature.
If you experience any of the following side effects, stop using the medicine and seek medical help immediately:
Allergic reactions including rash.
Chest pain - do not use nitrates but seek immediate medical help.
priapism, which is a prolonged and possibly painful erection after taking tadalafil. If you have such an erection, which lasts continuously for more than 4 hours, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Other reported side effects:

Headache, back pain, muscle pain, pain in the arms and legs, redness of the face, nasal congestion, and indigestion.

A-5-alpha reductase inhibitor (used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia).
Medicines such as ketoconazole tablets (to treat fungal infections) and protease inhibitors to treat AIDS or HIV infection.
Phenobarbital, phenytoin and carbamazepine (anticonvulsant drugs).
rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin or itraconazole.
Other treatments for erectile dysfunction.
Usage instructions:

The usual dose is 5 mg taken once a day at the same time each day without regard to the timing of sexual activity.
You can take the tablet in the morning or in the evening, but it is best to take it at the same time each day.
Your doctor may give you a lower dose of 2.5 mg if you have any problems.
How to store tadalafil:

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after "EXP". The expiration date refers to the last day of the same month.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not store above 30°C.
