Instructions for use:

• Always use this medication exactly as your doctor has told you to.
• Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is one extended-release tablet daily.
• The extended-release tablet is swallowed whole and should not be crushed or chewed.
• The effect of tamsulosin is not affected by eating or drinking.
• If you think the effect of tamsulosin is too strong or too weak, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist about this.

• If you forget to take tamsulosin:

  • If you forget to take tamsulosin, you can take the tablet later in the same day.
  • If you miss a day, simply continue to take your daily dose as prescribed.
  • You should not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
