Cefim 100 mg 60 Ml Suspention
Uses:
- Acute otitis media (AOM).
- Pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
- Respiratory infections.
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs).
- Cefixime prevents bacteria from forming a cell wall that bacteria need to survive.
- This reduces the number of bacteria in your body, which helps your body fight the infection.
How to use:
- Follow all instructions on the package label and do not take it in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- You can take the medicine with or without food.
- Shake the container well before measuring a dose.
- Measure the medication with a dosing syringe, or with a special dose-measuring spoon.
- Children 6 months to 12 years: Recommended dose: 8 mg/kg once daily or 4 mg/kg every 12 hours for 10-14 days.
Warnings and precautions:
- You should not take the medicine if you are allergic to cefixime, or to similar antibiotics. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin.
- The medicine contains sucrose.
- Talk to your doctor before using this form of cefixime if you have diabetes.
- Do not use the medicine for longer than you were told to.
Preservation method:
- Store at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
- Store in the original packaging in order to protect from moisture.
- Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children.
- Do not dispose of medications in wastewater or household waste.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
