Aquaflam 50 mg 12 sachets:

Diclofenac potassium is used to treat:

• Inflammation of the joints and bones such as rheumatoid arthritis, acute gout and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Back pain.
• Muscle strain, joint sprains, sports injuries, and fractures.
• Conditions that affect the tendons, such as tendonitis.
• Headache and migraine.
• Mild pain.

Do not take diclofenac potassium:

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• If you are allergic to NSAIDs including acetylsalicylic acid.
• If you suffer, or have suffered in the past, from a stomach ulcer, peptic ulcer, or bleeding in the digestive tract.
• If you have stomach or intestinal problems after taking other NSAIDs.
• If you suffer from severe liver or kidney disease.
• If you suffer from serious heart problems.
• If you have had a stroke, heart attack, or blood vessel problems.
• If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.

How to take diclofenac potassium:

• Take this drug as ordered by your doctor.
• This drug is not for use in children under 14 years of age.
• Take this drug with or immediately after a meal.
• Dissolve the granules in water and drink it immediately.
• The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times daily.
• For children 14 years and older, the usual dose is 75 to 100 mg daily in 2 or 3 doses.

Warnings and precautions:

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:

• If you suffer from any stomach or intestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
• If you suffer from kidney or liver problems.
• If you have a condition called porphyria.
• If you suffer from any blood disorder or bleed easily.
• If you suffer from high blood pressure.
• If you suffer from angina, blood clots, or high blood cholesterol levels.
• If you suffer from heart problems.
• If you suffer from diabetes.
• If you smoke.
• If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
• This drug may increase your risk of heart and blood vessel problems.

Possible side effects:

• Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.

Serious side effects:

• Severe chest pain and shortness of breath
• Sudden weakness and numbness, loss of vision, difficulty speaking
• Abdominal pain with dark stool
• Allergic reactions
• If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor or hospital immediately.
• Other medicines and diclofenac potassium
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, especially:
• Other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• Corticosteroids
• Anticoagulation medications such as warfarin
• Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin)
• Diabetes medications
• Diuretics (water pills)
• Lithium used for depression
• Antibiotics
• Heart and blood pressure medications
• Phenytoin
• Methotrexate
