Emifen 600 mg 20 tablets:

Emifen belongs to a group of medications called anti-inflammatory pain relievers.

Instructions for use:

• "Always take it as your doctor told you exactly. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure how to take it."
• The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest necessary duration to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, consult a doctor without delay if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen.
• Take Emifin with food or after finishing it with a glass of water. Emifin tablets should be swallowed whole and should not be chewed, broken, crushed, or sucked; to avoid causing discomfort in the mouth or irritation in the throat.

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years old: The usual dose ranges from 600 to 1800 mg and is divided throughout the day. Your doctor may decide to increase this dose based on what you are being treated for, but no more than 2400 mg should be taken in one day.
• Children: The usual daily dose is 20 mg per kg of body weight every day, given in divided doses. Emifin should not be taken by children weighing less than 7 kg.
• Children under 12 years of age should not be given Emifin tablets containing 600 mg.
  In the case of severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, your doctor may increase the dosage; up to 40 mg/kg will be given in divided doses.

Warnings and precautions:

Tell your doctor and stop taking Imifen if you are experiencing that.

• Signs of aseptic meningitis such as severe headache, fever, neck stiffness, or intolerance to bright light.
• "Signs of intestinal bleeding such as blood in the stool (stool/movements), passing black tarry stools, vomiting any blood or dark particles resembling ground coffee. Inform your doctor and stop taking Emifen if you encounter this."
• Blood in stool (stool / movements).
• Black tarry stool.
• Vomiting any blood or dark particles resembling ground coffee.
