Emox 125 mg syrup: Follow all instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist. You can give/take amoxicillin before or after food.
Space the doses as evenly as possible throughout the day. Your doctor will advise you on the amount of medicine to give your child.
The usual dose is 40 mg to 90 mg per kilogram of body weight per day, divided into two or three doses.
Doses may vary between patients depending on the severity and type of infection.
Doses may be adjusted in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
If you take more than the prescribed amount of the medicine, contact your doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the missed dose.
