Exitor 90 mg tablets belong to the category of analgesics and antipyretics.

How Exitor - etoricoxib works:

• Etoricoxib is an NSAID that acts as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic for the treatment of many diseases.
• Etoricoxib is a selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), the enzyme responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are an integral part and major cause of pain and inflammation.

Uses of Exitor 90 mg:

• Etoricoxib helps reduce pain and swelling (inflammation) in the joints and muscles of people 16 years of age and older with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout.
• Etoricoxib is also used for the short-term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery in people 16 years of age or older.

How to use Exitor 90 mg Tablets:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Dosages may change from patient to patient based on your age, medical condition, and whether you are taking other medications.
• Continue to take your medication for as long as your doctor tells you to.
• There are different concentrations available for this medicinal product and depending on your condition, your doctor will prescribe the appropriate concentration for you.
• The recommended dose is one tablet daily or as directed by your doctor
• Etoricoxib is intended for adults only; Not for use in children.
