- Heartburn, which is a burning sensation in your chest or throat caused by acid reflux.
- Indigestion, which is pain in your upper intestines that can feel like gas or bloating.
- Stomach or duodenal ulcer, which is an ulcer that affects the lining of the stomach, small intestine, or esophagus.
How to use Gaviscon Double Strength Chewable Tablets
- For oral use, chew well before swallowing.
- Adults including the elderly and children aged 12 and over:
- "When symptoms appear, take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day."
- Dosages may change under special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you are taking more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.

- Cephalosporins (for example, cephalexin).
