Yasmin 21 tablets
Scientific name: Drospirenone-ethinyl estradiol - tablets.
This medication is a combination of two hormones: an estrogen (estradiol) and a progestin (drospirenone).
Uses:
- This product is used to prevent pregnancy.
How to use:
The recommended dose is:
- The tablets should be taken every day at around the same time so that the interval between two tablets is always 24 hours.
- Take it every day for 21 days.
- It comes in strips of 21 tablets, each marked with the day of the week.
- Start taking birth control pills marked with the correct day of the week.
- Follow the direction of the arrows on the tape.
- Take one tablet every day, until you have used all 21 tablets.
side effects:
Side effects are not common to everyone, but some may report:
- Nausea and vomiting.
- headache.
- Breast tenderness.
- Swelling of the ankles/feet (fluid retention), or weight change may occur.
- Vaginal bleeding may occur between irregular periods, especially during the first few months of use.
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor before taking it. You should also tell your doctor if:
- If you have high levels of fats in your blood.
- If you've just given birth, you're at increased risk of blood clots.
- If you have inflammation of the veins under the skin.
- If you suffer from diabetes.
- If you have varicose veins.
- If you suffer from epilepsy.
- If you suffer from hemolytic uremic syndrome.
- If a close relative has or has had breast cancer.
- If you suffer from liver or gallbladder disease.
- If you suffer from depression.
Preservation method:
- Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
- Do not refrigerate the medicine in the refrigerator.
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Must be stored in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
